Dear Jacqui, I have just finished reading your lovely book. It is everything the description suggests and more. Obviously written from the heart, it’s warmth touches the soul. Ah Jacqui, your quote is like a tree… so much stems from it. Once we clear our mind we can listen to Him. It’s really all so simple and yet we make it so complicated.

I just feel the need to add that suppers together were very important in our household and I believe they made a difference on our road. When I visited with my son yesterday (who is a grad from UMass Amherst) I told him how you traveled there weekly for years to help fulfill your dream. Dreams were a lot of our supper conversations and many of our dreams have come true by wanting them bad enough to go after them.

Anyway, if I remember, your birthday is approaching. There are gifts in every day which we can give ourselves and each other. Happy Days.

Hi Everyone.

In memory of my brother Johnny, I have set up a Scholarship to keep his memory alive. The Scholarship “A Thread of Hope Johnny DeLorenzo Memorial Scholarship” will be given each year to a student at North Shore Community College. Criteria will try to hold to a student who is a cancer survivor or who has a relative or friend who has passed away or survived cancer. Also, if the student has suffered a trauma in his or her life would also be eligible. Never giving up and hanging on to that thread of hope as my brother did through his entire ordeal will pay tribute to him.

May the angels always carry you on their wings. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
