This photo is so powerful to me, creating an overwhelming sense of separation and solitude while hinting at the author’s tremendous strength in weathering the elements, as the lighthouse does.
Dear Jacqui,
I am so honored to know you. The depth of your understanding and your ability to help people is remarkable and amazing. Thank God you are here! There are reasons why we choose to survive the obstacles placed in our path and I am so glad you chose to survive.
Love,
Marilyn
Dearest Jacqui,
I thank you for the priviledge of being your friend. Your kindness and generosity touch my daughter and me whenever you are in our presence.
I am so happy for you to have completed this book. I wish you success, love and happiness. Peace to you!
Love,
Arden
Hi to my dear and devoted friend Jacqui,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being a devoted friend to me and my daughters, Jennifer and Sandra. Since the day I meet you, you took me kind of under your wing, because I was new at NSCC. Long time would you say.
Challenges do happen during our lives, and as you, I went through many when I was younger. Those that didn’t like me for some reason, but we go through those obstacles head on and make the best of what God deals out to us. God has plans for each of us and although we may not understand, he will guide us through them.
I will be honored to read your book and have it signed by you. The cover does remind me of my mother, when she would go to the ocean near the lighthouse and take time with God and herself. God Bless and love to you my friend, Susan Jane
Your cover picture is powerful and surreal to the viewer. The title you chose. I believe with divine inspiration, truly reflects your message for the cover picture in your spiritual journey of finding and holding on to that single thread of hope. God bless you.
Love,
Irene
I am so anxious to finally have the opportunity to read your book. I’ve had the privilege of having you read selected chapters to me during our “girls night out” and have been moved by the content and your writing style. I feel honored to know you and to have been your friend for 35 years. We’ve been through a lot both together and apart, but, our friendship is “rock solid” and continues to pass the test of time. I thank you for being a real inspiration and for always being there, especially during my battle with cancer. Your frequent cards and phone calls meant so much to me.
Your cover shows a very deep Jacqui, but, with your glowing warmth, you will never be seen standing alone. I love you, my friend, Nancy
Jaqui,
You are one of most endearing angels I have ever met. You radiate warmth and love through your whole being. I have been blessed by your prescence in my life. We started out many years ago at NSCC. As we moved through life time would pass and we didn’t see each other, but God knew enough to keep putting you on my path because you are so special. Like you your mom has been a gift of love to me too.
What a blessing and a gift that you shared your heart from your past to your future by writting this wonderful book. Your mom must be so proud of you!! Best of luck…love Diane and Juleah
You are an inspiration to all who come through your office door. You were my academic advisor while I was attending NSCC from 2002-2005 and I could not have asked for a better advisor. You taught me so much about myself that I did not even know.
Congratulations to you!!! I can’t wait to purchase your book.
Dear Jacqui,
I’m very pleased You shared your joy of publishing your book with me across the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks a lot. We met in 1991 and even, if we have not been visiting each other since, You still are one of my best friends. The cover of Your book is great. I suppose your writting too. I’m afraid I’m not good enough in reading English to understand everything it means but I’m very proud of You and all messages I read above give the same image of You : You are a very great person ! Thanks again to be my friend. Lots of French Love and as usual, forgive me to not have sent my message before… God bless You. Martine
